Katy Perry clears the air on romance rumours with Justin Trudeau

Katy Perry has recently cleared the air on romance rumours with Justin Trudeau.
The Roar singer made a cheeky comment onstage during her concert at London’s O2 Arena on October 13.
Speaking to the crowd, Katy, who is currently on her Lifetimes world tour, said, “London, England, you’re like this on a Monday night after a whole day at work and a whole day at school?”
“No wonder I fall for Englishmen all the time but not anymore,” remarked the 40-year-old.
During the show, the singer also received a surprise marriage proposal from a fan but she rejected it.
“I wish you’d asked me 48 hours ago,” quipped Katy.
Interestingly, the comments came days after photos emerged of the songstress and former Canadian Prime Minister kissing and embracing on board her yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara, California.
The photos, obtained by the Mail on Sunday, seemingly confirmed speculation about their romantic relationship.
A source previously spilled to The Sun that the rumoured couple have been secretly dating earlier this year.
“They haven’t been able to spend a lot of time together as she’s on tour, but they’re constantly in contact — always FaceTiming and messaging each other,” said an insider.
Meanwhile, Katy reportedly split from ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares five-year-old daughter Daisy Dove Bloom, in July this year.
Justin, who was Canada’s Prime Minister from 2015 to 2025, parted ways from his former wife Sophie in 2023 after 18 years together. They share three children together.
