ISLAMABAD:
A lawyer moved the IHC on Wednesday, seeking the audio and video recordings of a recent courtroom proceeding after which Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri was stopped from working as judge.
Barrister Jahangir Jadoon submitted the application to the IHC registrar, stating that during the September 16 hearing in Courtroom No 1, Chief Justice Sarfraz Dogar had told lawyers that no order was being issued.
However, after the hearing ended, news surfaced that Justice Jahangiri had been stopped from working. Therefore, Barrister Jadoon requested, the official recordings be provided to him to remove ambiguity.
