19 Khwarij killed in 3 separate engagements in KPK, ISPR

Rawalpindi: Security forces conducted three separate intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on September 9 and 10, eliminating a total of 19 foreign terrorists, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The operations were aimed at eradicating anti-state elements and ensuring the safety and security of the civilian population.

According to t ISPR, the first major operation took place in the Guluno area of District Mohmand, where intense exchange of fire occurred between the security forces and the terrorists. As a result, 14 foreign terrorists were neutralized.

The second operation was carried out in the Datta Khel area of North Waziristan, where four more terrorists were killed. The third operation took place in District Bannu, where one terrorist was eliminated during an exchange of fire, told ISPR

According to ISPR, a large cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the terrorists’ possession during these operations.

Following the engagements, sanitization of the areas is underway to eliminate any remaining threats and ensure the environment is secure.

ISPR emphasized that Pakistan’s security forces remain fully committed to rooting out terrorism, particularly the kind backed by Indian-sponsored networks. These operations are a clear demonstration of the military’s resolve to deal with all hostile elements threatening the peace and stability of the country.
