Punjab Announces 30,000 Scholarships for Students

The Punjab government has introduced 30,000 new scholarships under the Chief Minister’s Honhaar Undergraduate Scholarship Program 2025, offering merit-based financial support to talented students pursuing undergraduate degrees.

The scholarship will cover the full tuition fees for eligible students, easing the financial burden for those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

How to Apply

Eligible students can apply by visiting the official Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) website and completing the online application. For more information, applicants can check the portal or reach out to the PHEC helpline for guidance.

Eligibility Criteria

The scholarship program is aimed at students who have completed their intermediate education (FA, FSc, ICS, or 12th Grade) with at least 70% marks. Applicants need to meet the following criteria:

-Domicile: Applicants must have a domicile in Punjab.

-Family Income: The monthly income of the applicant’s family must not exceed Rs. 350,000 (for public sector HEIs).

-Degree Program: Students applying for BS, BA, BSc, MBBS, or any undergraduate program are eligible.

-Last Date for Application: September 15, 2025

-Applicants can apply online, and hard copy submissions will not be accepted.
