Jennifer Lopez is going viral after handling an unexpected onstage interruption with composure during her Up All Night: Live tour stop in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Mid-performance, a large cricket made its way up Lopez’s dress and towards her neck, prompting audible reactions from the audience.
Without breaking her stride, Lopez flicked the cricket away in one smooth motion and quipped to the crowd, “It was tickling me,” before continuing her performance as if nothing had happened.
A video posted by her official fan account joked, “Plot twist: @JLo just started rehearsals for Kiss of the Cricket Woman … on stage … in real time,” referencing her upcoming film Kiss of the Spider Woman, set to release this autumn.
Fans quickly filled social media with praise for the singer’s professionalism, noting how she kept singing and engaging with the audience despite the surprise visitor.
This isn’t Lopez’s first recent onstage mishap. In Warsaw, Poland, a glittery skirt she was wearing snapped off mid-performance, leaving her momentarily in her underwear. Lopez laughed it off, joking, “That’s gonna be everywhere,” before resuming the show.
