Selena Gomez, who has been Taylor Swift’s bff for 18 years, revealed a major edge she gets over regular Swifties.
The 33-year-old songstress and actress shared that she gets to hear the pop superstar’s songs before they are released.
The Only Murders In The Building star recalled that the first song she got to hear before its release was Love Story, from Swift’s album, Fearless, which later went on to be a hit.
During her interview at Therapuss podcast, the Disney alum looked back at first becoming friends with the Blank Space hitmaker.
Gomez explained that their friendship started when they “dated the Jonas Brothers” at the same time.
“I was about 15, she was about 18,” the Fetish songstress said. “That’s when it was the crazy, curly Taylor and she had all these bracelets that went all the way up [her arm].”
Speaking about her cherished memory of listening to Love Story for the first time, Gomez said, “It was in a hotel room and I remember it vividly. It was just, like, one of those songs I instantly heard and thought, ‘This is one of the most beautiful songs ever.’ So at that age, we became best friends.”
The makeup mogul further gushed about Swift’s talents, saying, “She’s a chameleon, she’s incredible.”
