Beloved actress and morning show host Sanam Jung recently captivated her audience by sharing heartfelt details of her enduring romance with her husband, Qassam Jafri. Appearing on a popular talk show, she took fans down memory lane, revealing how their relationship blossomed from a childhood friendship into a lasting marriage.
Sanam explained that she and Qassam were school friends who eventually lost touch after moving on to separate colleges and universities. Their paths diverged further when Qassam moved abroad.
However, fate intervened years later when they ran into each other by chance on a jogging track, reigniting the bond they once shared.
“We’ve been married for ten years, but we had been thinking about getting married since 2008,” Sanam recalled. “Qassam was very simple,” she added, sharing a touching detail: “When we met again, Qassam didn’t have a job, and neither did I. That kind of love is very unique.” She also mentioned that becoming a pilot had always been Qassam’s lifelong dream.
The couple eventually tied the knot in 2016, and Sanam is now a proud mother of two daughters, Alaya and Alaiza. She spoke candidly about the rhythm of their life as a pilot’s family. “Qassam is away from home for fifteen days and then home for fifteen days,” she said. “When he is here, it’s his responsibility to get all the groceries and other things done. When he is not here, it is difficult for me to go out with two children.”
