Drake credits Gracie Abrams for helping him embrace a personal detail as ‘art’

Drake shared a rare personal reflection this week on Instagram, revealing that he once disliked a birthmark on his arm until discovering that singer Gracie Abrams has one in the same spot.

The rapper posted a selfie of Abrams followed by a photo of himself performing, highlighting the similarity between their birthmarks.

“I used to hate my birthmark but Gracie got the same one,” Drake wrote. “Now it’s art.”

Fans were quick to react, with some questioning his repeated admiration for the singer. “Whys drake obsessed with gracie,” one user asked. Another wrote, “Now why is drake posting gracie abrams…”

Drake has previously shown appreciation for Abrams’ music. In March, he shared lyrics from I Knew It, I Know You, a track from her album The Secret of Us, praising the production. “[GOAT]’d beat switch on this,” he captioned the post. “Second half is [sad emoji, brain exploding emoji, blue heart emoji].”

Though it’s unclear whether the two artists have met, fans have begun speculating about a potential collaboration. Both musicians are currently on tour. Drake is performing across Europe with upcoming shows in Manchester and Belgium, while Gracie Abrams is scheduled to play two nights at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.
