Pakistan set to launch super App for All e-Government services

Pakistan is gearing up to launch a Super App and Web Portal that will act as a one-stop hub for accessing a wide range of government services. Designed to bring together federal and provincial services under a single, user-friendly platform, this initiative promises to make life easier for both citizens and businesses.

Instead of navigating separate systems for each department, users will be able to access everything—from applying for documents to paying taxes—through one centralized mobile app and web portal. This ambitious project is part of the Digital Economy Enhancement Project (DEEP) and aims to make public service delivery more efficient, transparent, and accessible.

To bring this vision to life, the government is partnering with a qualified consultancy firm to design, develop, and deploy the platform using a proven Super App framework. The app will be modular, scalable, and built on secure cloud infrastructure. It will also integrate with Pakistan’s national digital identity system and data exchange layers to ensure smooth and secure access.

What the Super App Aims to Deliver:

24/7 Access to Public Services:

Citizens and businesses will be able to access services anytime, from any device, in multiple languages. A single sign-on using your national ID will give you personalized dashboards and real-time service updates—all in one place.

Smarter Government Operations:

By digitizing processes and reducing manual work, the platform will cut down service wait times, improve transparency, and even help increase revenue by making payments and compliance easier.

A Unified Digital Experience:

The app will be the first real-world implementation of a Pakistan Digital Government Enterprise Architecture a framework designed to unify government operations and information sharing across departments.

Security & Privacy First:

Security is at the core of the platform. It will use biometric authentication and follow the best international data protection standards, including GDPR. The system will also comply with Pakistan’s upcoming Personal Data Protection Bill to ensure user privacy and data safety.

Built for the Future:

The Super App will launch as a free platform but is designed with future growth in mind. It will support ads, subscriptions, and premium services down the line—helping the government create a sustainable, revenue-generating ecosystem.

The chosen consultancy will be responsible for everything—from system design to deployment, training, and knowledge transfer—ensuring the platform is ready to serve millions efficiently. All work will be conducted in line with World Bank guidelines and international best practices to guarantee transparency and fairness.

In short, Pakistan’s Super App is set to revolutionize how citizens interact with the government—making it faster, smarter, and more transparent than ever before.
