West Indies beat Pakistan by 2 wickets in second T20 to level series 1-1

LAUDERHILL: West Indies defeated Pakistan by 2 wickets in a thrilling second T20 match to level the three-match series 1-1. Jason Holder sealed the victory for the hosts with a boundary off the final ball of the match.

Batting first, Pakistan managed to post 133 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Hassan Nawaz top-scored with 40 runs, while captain Salman Ali Agha contributed 38 runs.

Jason Holder was the standout bowler for West Indies, taking 4 wickets for just 19 runs. Gudakesh Motie scored 28 runs, captain Shai Hope added 21, while both Roston Chase and Holder chipped in with 16 runs each.

For Pakistan, Mohammad Nawaz took 3 wickets, and Saim Ayub claimed 2. Shaheen Afridi and Sufiyan Muqeem picked up one wicket apiece. However, Hasan Ali proved expensive, conceding 48 runs in his 4 overs.

With this victory, the series is now tied at 1-1. The third and final T20 match will be played tomorrow.
