
Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted that Karachi will experience cloudy and humid weather over the next 24 hours, with a chance of light drizzle.
The maximum temperature is expected to be between 32 and 34 degrees Celsius, with sea breezes blowing at 21 kilometers per hour and a high humidity level of 78 percent.
The minimum temperature recorded in the last 24 hours was 28 degrees Celsius.
The PMD has also forecasted rain for several other regions across the country, including Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, and Kashmir.
Major cities in Punjab like Rawalpindi, Lahore, Sialkot, and Multan, as well as parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Peshawar, Swat, and Chitral, are expected to receive rainfall.
While most of Sindh will remain hot and humid, evening rains are possible in Tharparkar, Umerkot, and coastal areas.
The PMD has issued a warning for flash floods in the streams and nullahs of Dir, Swat, Mansehra, and other hilly areas. Additionally, a risk of landslides has been predicted for Kashmir, Murree, and Galiyat.
