E-Challan System introduced in Punjab
The e-challan system is now officially working in Bahawalpur under the Punjab government’s Safe City Project, which aims to improve traffic control and overall security.
According to an official statement, this system has been launched just like in other cities of the province. Modern surveillance technology has been set up to support the system.
AI-powered CCTV cameras have been installed at the city’s entry and exit points, important intersections, main roads, and near government offices. These cameras are monitoring traffic to make sure drivers follow road safety rules.
