LPG Prices Reduce in Pakistan
Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a significant reduction in Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) prices for August 2025.
In a major move aimed at easing consumer burden, the price of LPG has been cut by a substantial Rs17.73 per kilogram, bringing the new rate to Rs215.37 per kg. This is not just a small drop but one of the biggest price cuts seen in recent months.
Meanwhile, the price of 11.8 kg domestic LPG cylinder has been reduced by Rs209.24, bringing the new price to Rs2,541.
This unexpected cut is being seen as a positive step for people struggling with the high cost of living. OGRA stated that this decision is part of a larger effort to fight inflation and provide real relief to the average Pakistani household.
