Prince Harry tipped to get Meghan Markle a new title on birthday ‘as a joke’

Prince Harry is set to take a page straight out of the Royal handbook for his wife Meghan Markle’s 44th birthday.
The Duke of Sussex, 40, is preparing to make the Duchess’s upcoming birthday on August 4 “extra special,” according to former royal butler Grant Harrold.
Speaking to Heart Bingo via Express, the ex royal aide — who worked for Harry’s father King Charles between 2004 and 2011 — noted how “the Royal Family are famous for quirky fun presents… the sort of things money can’t buy.”
Harrold joked that the “generous” prince “might get [Meghan] a piece of land on the moon… or he might get her a title as a bit of a joke, you can get these Highland titles – so he may get something a little bit quirky, a little bit fun.”
The joke is a reference to Meghan’s recent insistence on being referred to by her royal titles, including “Sussex” and “Her Royal Highness.”
The Sussexes, including children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are known for making birthdays a very special occasion, indeed. Meghan has previously posted special tributes for both Archie and Lilibet as they turned six and four in May and June, respectively.
Her “baby momma dance” video posted in honour of Lilibet’s fourth birthday in particular went viral.
Harrold predicts that Harry and Meghan will “make people aware it’s her birthday” with a public message.
However, the Royal Family is not expected to mark the special occasion with their traditional birthday portrait reserved for working royals.
Notably, though, the exiled prince did receive a birthday message from his estranged family last year in September.
