Rain and Gusty Winds Forecast for Lahore, Punjab

Isolated rain and gusty winds are expected in Lahore and some other areas of Punjab on Sunday evening, night, and Monday.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) says a seasonal low-pressure area is present over northwest Balochistan, while moist winds from the Arabian Sea are entering the lower and eastern parts of the country. Additionally, a westerly wave is affecting the northern regions.

Due to these weather conditions, rain and gusty winds may occur at a few places such as Murree, Galiyat, Lahore, Kasur, Sialkot, Narowal, Gujranwala, Okara, Sahiwal, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Kot Addu, and Dera Ghazi Khan on Sunday afternoon, evening, and night.

On Monday, most districts in Punjab will experience mainly hot and humid weather. However, more rain and gusty winds are expected in the evening and night in places like Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiyat, Chakwal, Attock, Jhelum, Gujrat, Sialkot, Narowal, and Lahore.

In Lahore, the temperature on Monday and Tuesday is expected to stay between 34°C and 36°C. Over the past 24 hours, most areas of Punjab had hot and humid weather, though some places received rain.

Rainfall (mm): Murree 20, Kasur 18, Okara 01

Bahawalpur and Dera Ghazi Khan remained the hottest places in Punjab, with a maximum temperature of 40°C recorded. The maximum temperature in Multan was recorded at 39°C.

In Lahore, the maximum temperature was recorded at 36°C. Relative humidity in the morning was recorded at 79 percent.
