
An armed attack targeted a courthouse in Iran’s southeastern Sistan-Baluchistan province on Saturday, according to Iranian media.
The incident reportedly took place in Zahedan, the provincial capital, where gunmen stormed the judicial complex and opened fire, including in areas such as the judges’ chambers.
Several people were injured, and relief and emergency teams were immediately dispatched to the scene, Mehr News Agency reported.

After the gunfire erupted, security forces sealed off the area and encircled the courthouse.
No further details have been released regarding the identities of the attackers or the condition of the injured.
