3 terrorists killed in CTD, police operation in Swat

SWAT: At least three terrorists were killed in a joint operation conducted by police and the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD).

According to the District Police Officer (DPO), the operation was carried out in the Parrai area of Swat.

The DPO said that the joint operation of the forces killed 3 terrorists, identified as Ajmal, Waqas and Abdul Ghaffar.

On the other hand, during the operation in Torah Wadi area of Hangu, a terrorist opened fire on a police van, after which a terrorist was killed in a police response.

Earlier, Five terrorists were killed in a joint operation conducted by Punjab Police and the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) during a fierce encounter near the Punjab–Khyber Pakhtunkhwa border in the Taunsa region.

According to police officials, the terrorists opened fire on the forces, prompting a retaliatory response that resulted in all five militants being neutralized on the spot.

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz praised the efforts of Punjab Police and CTD, commending their bravery and swift action in eliminating the threat.

She commended Punjab Police and the CTD for killing five terrorists in Taunsa, saying they are “worthy of praise for sending the terrorists to hell.”
