Honor launches Pad X7 with compact 8.7-Inch screen
Honor has quietly rolled out its latest budget-friendly tablet, the Pad X7—not to be confused with the older Tablet X7 from 2021. This new release comes with a compact 8.7-inch LCD, offering a 1340×800 resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and a respectable 625 nits of peak brightness, making it a solid pick for everyday use and media consumption.
Under the hood, the Pad X7 is powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which can be expanded further with a microSD card. It’s a well-rounded setup for basic multitasking and entertainment.
Fueling the device is a 7,020 mAh battery that supports 10W wired charging, along with reverse wired charging, so you can even use it to power up other devices in a pinch. For photography, the tablet comes equipped with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera, good enough for casual snaps and video calls.
The Pad X7 runs Android 15 right out of the box and has a sleek design measuring 211.8 x 124.8 x 7.99 mm, weighing just 365 grams. Currently, it’s available in a single gray color.
Honor also emphasizes the tablet’s durability, claiming it passed 42 different durability tests, including drop tests, steel ball impacts, extreme temperatures, and touchscreen stress checks.
For now, the Honor Pad X7 is available in Saudi Arabia through the brand’s official online store. A broader international release is expected shortly.
