Hamza Ali Abbasi faces backlash over controversial ‘Hijab’ remarks

Pakistani actor Hamza Ali Abbasi finds himself embroiled in controversy after making a contentious statement about the “hijab” during a podcast.

Hamza Ali Abbasi, known for his roles in popular dramas like “Pyarey Afzal,” “Mann Mayal,” and “Alif,” has gained prominence not only for his acting but also for his religious inclinations.

Following his marriage to Naimal Khawar, the actor suddenly shifted towards religious awakening, announcing his intention to step away from mainstream media to focus on promoting Islamic teachings. However, his controversial statements on Islamic ideologies have repeatedly landed him in the headlines.
