
Pakistan Navy holds conference at Naval Headquarters, Maritime borders in safe hands says Admiral Naveed
The Pakistan Navy’s Command and Staff Conference was held at the Naval Headquarters in Islamabad under the chairmanship of the Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf.
Admiral Naveed Ashraf commended the Navy’s formidable maritime defense capabilities demonstrated during historic battles. He appreciated the efforts to ensure uninterrupted operations at ports and the smooth flow of maritime trade routes, both crucial to Pakistan’s economic security.
During the conference, the Naval Chief stressed the importance of maintaining combat readiness to counter both conventional and non-conventional threats in the maritime domain. He highlighted the strategic value of incorporating advanced technologies such as drones, underwater vehicles, and unmanned surface vessels (maritime drones) in surveillance and operational planning.
Principal Staff Officers and Field Commanders reviewed the Navy’s existing policies and development plans under the Naval Chief’s leadership. The conference served as a platform to assess progress and align strategic objectives in view of evolving regional security dynamics.
