Lahore: Renowned Pakistani actress and TV host Nadia Khan has issued a stern warning to artists and actors criticizing her publicly.
In a recent YouTube video, Khan declared that she will pursue legal action against anyone making personal comments about her, warning of criminal and civil defamation cases under PECA laws.
Khan, who is currently hosting her program “Kya Drama Hai,” has been scrutinizing Pakistani dramas, alongside fellow critics Marina Khan, Rubina Ashraf, and Atiqa Odho. Her reviews focus on storylines, casting choices, performances, and dressing, sparking strong reactions from various celebrities and viewers alike.
The artists involved in this show are currently experiencing a surge of popularity in the entertainment industry, and they are seen responding strongly to the criticism they receive daily about their dramas or characters.
Stars like Faisal Qureshi, Sarwat Gilani, Behrooz Sabzwari, and Yasser Hussain have strongly reacted, and now senior actress Saba Faisal has also made a video criticizing Nadia Khan and other hosts.
Addressing her critics, Nadia Khan stated, “If your family hasn’t taught you manners, or if you sell your ethics for fame or money, then let me tell you—if anyone makes personal comments about me now, I will take you to court.” She emphasized her stance against personal attacks, warning that she would file criminal and civil defamation suits, including actions under PECA laws, promising “thorough humiliation” for offenders.
“This is my final warning: keep quiet, stay within the bounds of decency, because enough is enough. If you make one personal comment about me, the consequences will be severe,” she added.
