Dozens of aid seekers among 82 Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza

Gaza: Israeli military strikes have resulted in the deaths of at least 82 Palestinians across Gaza.

At least 82 Palestinians have been killed across Gaza in recent Israeli military operations, including dozens of aid seekers waiting for humanitarian assistance, according to hospital sources.

The attacks occurred on Friday in central, southern, and Gaza City regions, with many casualties resulting from airstrikes targeting homes and gatherings.

Hospital reports that at least 34 Palestinians were wounded and dozens more killed while attempting to access aid. Notably, 23 of those killed in central Gaza were aid seekers, while in Gaza City, 23 others lost their lives. In southern Gaza, 11 aid seekers were among the 22 killed.

Since the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) began aid distributions on May 27, Israeli strikes near aid centers have resulted in hundreds of casualties, raising concerns over the safety of humanitarian operations.

The United Nations has criticized the distribution process, citing its failure to guarantee safe delivery amid ongoing hostilities.

The conflict has severely exacerbated Gaza’s humanitarian crisis, with over 409 aid seekers reported killed and more than 3,200 injured, according to Gaza’s Government Media Office.

Additionally, UNICEF has warned that the region faces a man-made drought, with only 40% of water production facilities operational, threatening the lives of children due to a collapsing water supply system.
