Italian Navy Ship participates in Bilateral exercise with Pakistan Navy
The Pakistan Navy and the Italian Navy conducted a joint naval exercise in the northern Arabian Sea, marking another step forward in growing military cooperation between the two countries.
According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Italian Navy ship “ITS Antonio Marceglia” participated in the bilateral maritime drill alongside “Pakistan Navy ships and aircraft”.
The main objective of the exercise was to “enhance operational readiness and strengthen cooperation” between the two naval forces.
The ISPR statement highlighted that this joint exercise reflects the commitment of both countries to “promote defense collaboration, regional peace, and maritime stability.”
It is worth noting that last year in October, an “Italian Carrier Strike Group” also visited Pakistan, showcasing the increasing naval cooperation between the two nations.
The regular visits of Italian naval ships to Pakistan underline the “deepening maritime partnership” and shared goals of maintaining security in the region.
