ISLAMABAD: The pre-monsoon season has begun in Pakistan, with rainfall predicted in various parts of the country over the next three days.

The several regions in Sindh, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had been experiencing intense heat in recent days. However, with the onset of the pre-monsoon system, a significant drop in temperatures is expected.

According to the Meteorological Department, rainfall is also likely to continue in parts of Balochistan, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir.

While rains are expected from tomorrow in several places in Sindh, Karachi is likely to remain humid and cloudy over the next 24 hours.

According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in the city is likely to be 34 to 36 degrees Celsius, while the humidity in the air is 69 %.

The Meteorological Department says that sea winds across the city are moving at 20 km / h, the minimum temperature was recorded at 29.5 degrees Celsius in the last 24 hours.
