German Chancellor warns Iran of potential US strike on nuclear program
Berlin: German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has warned that if Iran fails to return to the negotiating table, the United States may take action to destroy Iran’s c.
In a televised interview, Chancellor Merz cautioned that continued escalation without diplomatic engagement could lead to a U.S. military response targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities.
He further stated that while the Israeli military lacks the necessary weapons and capability to neutralize Iran’s nuclear program, the United States possesses both the means and the firepower to do so.
The German Chancellor added that the Iranian government has weakened after the Israeli attacks.
It is worth noting that Israel’s recent strikes on Iran’s nuclear program targeted several key installations, including nuclear facilities in Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan.
Experts say the attacks have certainly caused some timely damage, but Israel has not completely paralyzed Iran’s nuclear program.
