Kandhkot: The Health Department is reeling from a severe crisis as an astonishing 76 doctors, including female doctors, are reportedly nowhere to be found. This shocking wave of absenteeism has forced the District Health Officer (DHO) to take a decisive stand, formally demanding departmental action against these medical professionals who are abandoning their critical duties and leaving communities vulnerable.
The DHO revealed that despite issuing four show-cause notices, the absent doctors have consistently failed to provide any explanation for their non-attendance. This alarming lack of accountability has left various hospital departments unstaffed, leading to immense distress and hardship for patients desperately seeking medical attention.
Adding to the shock, sources indicate that a significant number of these absent doctors and lady doctors are reportedly residing in other countries. With hospitals struggling and patients suffering, the District Health Officer has officially urged the Health Secretary to initiate disciplinary proceedings against all those involved.
