
Italian Navy warship “ITS Antonio Marceglia” visits Karachi port on goodwill mission
Karachi: The Italian Navy’s warship “ITS Antonio Marceglia” has arrived at Karachi Port for a three-day goodwill visit, according to a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Officers of the Pakistan Navy and the Italian Ambassador to Pakistan warmly welcomed the arrival of the ship. The visit aims to strengthen naval cooperation between Pakistan and Italy and promote coordination in joint maritime operations.
The ISPR stated that during the visit, personnel from both navies will engage in professional meetings, exchange views, and conduct joint exercises at various levels.
The presence of the Italian naval ship in Pakistan reflects the strong and growing bilateral relations between the two countries. It also signifies the increasing scope of maritime cooperation.
The Pakistan military spokesperson emphasized that the Pakistan Navy remains committed to playing an active role among international naval forces, enhancing collaboration, and maintaining peace and security at sea.
