Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s $30 million wedding décor reportedly burned after ceremony

Swift’s team instructed crew members to dispose of the elaborate décor to prevent items from being stolen and sold

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s reported $30 million wedding ended with the destruction of its custom-made decorations, according to a source cited by the Daily Mail.

An insider told the publication that Swift’s team instructed crew members to dispose of the elaborate décor to prevent items from being stolen and sold.

“They didn’t want people to steal it and then auction it or sell it, so they just burned it all,” the source claimed.

The custom-built furnishings reportedly included monogrammed pieces featuring two interlocking Ts and garden-inspired structures.

According to the report, the decorations were transported from New York to Pennsylvania, where they had originally been built, before being incinerated.

“They had told us it was going to be incinerated, but I don’t know where they actually physically incinerated it,” the source added.

The insider also claimed that 11 heavily loaded semi-trucks were used to transport the structures. “The fact that no one has relics of it and it all had to get burned and properly disposed of is kind of crazy,” the source said.

Swift reportedly played a role in planning and designing the ceremony, as she “didn’t want to just be handed a wedding”.

However, the Daily Mail report stated that she did not personally request the decorations’ destruction.

The reported disposal follows revelations that the couple scrapped plans for a two-storey carousel, reportedly priced at $7 million, and a man-made pond over safety and engineering concerns.
