Disney+ will stream Super Bowl LXI in 2027, giving subscribers another way to watch the NFL championship game alongside its traditional broadcast on ESPN and ABC.
The game is scheduled to take place on February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. It will mark the first Super Bowl produced and carried by ESPN, with Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Lisa Salters and Laura Rutledge among the broadcasters involved in the coverage.
In the US, Disney+ subscribers will have access to the same English-language presentation airing on ESPN and ABC, as well as the Spanish-language broadcast from ESPN Deportes. Disney+ will also make the Super Bowl available in more than 55 international markets, including Latin America, Brazil, the Caribbean, South Africa and Australia and New Zealand.
The streaming move expands Disney+’s role in live sports as the company continues to bring more ESPN programming to the service. Ahead of Super Bowl LXI, Disney+ will stream two Monday Night Football games, beginning with the Dallas Cowboys’ game against the Philadelphia Eagles on October 26. A second game will be announced at a later date.
The Super Bowl will also remain available through the ESPN app in the US. ESPN will offer its traditional broadcast, the Spanish-language telecast and the ManningCast featuring Peyton and Eli Manning, alongside additional Super Bowl Sunday programming.
Disney is already preparing for a major Super Bowl presence, with ESPN planning to establish ESPN Beach at Santa Monica Beach ahead of the game. The week-long broadcast hub will begin on February 8 and will include a free fan experience at the Santa Monica Pier.
Super Bowl LXI has also generated record advertising demand. Disney said ABC and ESPN have already sold all commercial inventory for the broadcast, marking the earliest sell-out by a network in Super Bowl history. Fifty-eight brands across 34 categories have secured advertising spots, including nine companies making their Super Bowl debut.
With Disney+ joining ESPN and ABC, Super Bowl LXI will become one of Disney’s biggest live-streaming events yet, further expanding the company’s push to combine its traditional television networks with its streaming platforms.
