Presley Gerber, the 27-year-old son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, has died, Parade reports. His cause of death has not been confirmed.
TMZ first reported the news on Sunday, September 20. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, Presley died at a rehabilitation facility.
An autopsy has not yet been completed, and further details remain unavailable.
A representative for the family told the outlet, “The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time.”
Presley had previously spoken publicly about his struggles with substance use and mental health. In 2024, he revealed that he had battled severe opiate addiction for several years and experienced a near-fatal fentanyl overdose that left him in a coma for days.
In December 2025, he also discussed prescription medication dependency, claiming he had seen more than 15 psychiatrists who heavily medicated him without providing a structured path to recovery.
He said he had been sober from alcohol for five months, with his last drink in July 2025.
In an Instagram video that December, Presley spoke about personal losses and his ongoing struggles, explaining that he hoped his openness would help others feel less alone.
He said, “Unfortunately, I’ve had a lot of loss in many different forms recently, so that is not an excuse, but it’s the reason why I am where I’m at now.”
Presley is survived by his parents and sister, model and actress Kaia Gerber.
Authorities have yet to release an official cause of death as the investigation continues.
