Taylor Swift hangs out with Tom Cruise at Chiefs vs. Broncos game after Emmys ‘SVU’ parody cameo
Swift featured in an Emmys sketch centred on speculation over whether she would attend the ceremony
Taylor Swift appeared at the Emmys in a pretaped Law & Order: Special Victims Unit parody while attending Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs game with Tom Cruise.
Swift attended Kelce’s first game of the season on September 14, when the Chiefs faced the Denver Broncos in Kansas City. Cruise was seated alongside the singer during the Monday Night Football opener.
Swift also featured in an Emmys sketch centred on speculation over whether she would attend the ceremony.
Host Mariska Hargitay appeared as Olivia Benson and investigated the question, saying, “The Emmys are tonight, and the mayor’s office is breathing down my neck demanding an answer to the big question: Will Taylor Swift be at the Emmys?”
Hargitay added, “Now, in order to crack a Swifty case, you’ve got to think like a Swifty, because the Swifties think that everything is a clue to what she’ll do next.”
Swift joined the sketch by offering clues and ideas about whether she might appear during the broadcast.
Kelce has played for the Chiefs since 2013 and has won three Super Bowls with the team. Swift has regularly attended his games since their relationship became public.
The couple also married during the summer at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Swift is also receiving awards attention for “I Knew It, I Knew You”, her song from the Toy Story 5 soundtrack.
