Andrew Garfield has nothing but praise for his The Social Network co-star Jesse Eisenberg.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, the 43-year-old actor hailed Jesse as “one of the most brilliant minds” in Hollywood.
Andrew, who starred alongside Jesse in the 2010 movie The Social Network, said the American actor was “quintessentially perfect” for the role of Mark Zuckerberg.
When asked about Jesse turning down the opportunity to reprise his role in The Social Reckoning, Andrew replied, “Surprised or not—I don’t know.”
“He was so quintessentially perfect in that character and in that film,” the Spider-Man star continued. “I don’t know the interior workings of his mind as much as I would like to because it’s one of the most brilliant minds I’ve ever come across.”
“So I don’t really have an opinion on it particularly, but I love Jeremy Strong, Aaron Sorkin and the whole cast [of The Social Reckoning]. Aaron is one of our great writers, so I’m really excited to see it,” he added.
For those unversed, Andrew will be next seen in the film, Aritificial. He plays Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, in the forthcoming movie.
Aritificial is scheduled to be released in cinemas on December 25, 2026.
