Amy Schumer is sharing a raw reflection on motherhood as the mom of one posted a poignant post involving her son.
The American comedian and actress took to her Instagram account on Wednesday and shared insight into a vulnerable moment with her son, and framed the relatable parenting moment in perfect words.
In the candid post, the I Feel Pretty star shared a snap with her son, Gene David Fischer, in which the doting mom can be seen embracing the seven-year-old.
However, the body tone of the mother-son duo appeared to be intense, as if it is the calm after Gene threw a tantrum.
Describing the sentimental moment in the caption, the Kinda Pregnant actress wrote, “They wipe the floor with you and also carry you to heaven.”
The picture appears to be taken at a gathering, for which Amy wore a lavender floral dress and her son was sporting a shirt with lizard prints on it and grey shorts.
It is pertinent to mention that Amy Schumer shares Gene with her ex-husband Chris Fischer.
Amy filed for divorce from Chris earlier this year after seven years of marriage.
Back in May, Amy celebrated being a single mom for the first time on his sons seventh birthday by taking it to social media.
She penned, “This women just threw her first bday party as a single mom,” over a selfie posted to her Instagram Stories at the time.
