Light drizzle hits several areas as temperatures are forecast to reach 34 C.
KARACHI: A cloudy spell brought light drizzle to several parts of Karachi on Saturday, offering brief relief from the city’s warm and humid conditions, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.
Drizzle was reported in Clifton, DHA and Sea View, as well as Gulshan-e-Maymar, Sohrab Goth and Ayesha Manzil.
The department recorded a minimum temperature of 27.6 C, with humidity at 74%. The city’s temperature was around 28 C at the time of the report, while the maximum temperature is expected to reach 32 to 34 C.
Light drizzle is expected during the morning and evening hours. Southwesterly winds are blowing at about 15 kilometers per hour, with occasional gusts also possible.
The cloudy conditions and scattered drizzle are providing temporary relief from the heat, although humid weather is expected to continue across the city.
