Chrome nails are having their biggest moment yet. Searches for silver chrome polish have jumped 88% over the past year, according to beauty trend forecaster Brandnation. The look started with the soft, pearly “glazed donut” manicure a few years back.
Deputy Managing Director Eva Ringwood calls chrome “small but bold, playful and futuristic.” She adds that the finish moves easily from the runway to everyday life.
The 2026 version comes in more shades than ever along with cobalt blue, acid green and glassy neutrals colors. Nail artists say the trick is choosing a finish that feels current, not dated.
