Pamela Anderson was not considered for the new Baywatch series.
According to Radar Online, the Hollywood star has been ignored by the producers of the upcoming 2027 Baywatch series.
It is pertinent to mention that despite her playing the iconic character lifeguard C.J. Parker in the original Baywatch reboot, the actress-turned-producer was not even considered for a cameo in the new reboot.
Speaking to the outlet, Pamela revealed, “No one’s reached out to me.”
Adding, “I don’t know much about it. I’m not sure what happened, but I wish them well.”
Pamela further revealed that her sons Brandon Thomas and Dylan Jagger were approached for production of the series, but “I don’t think they had a meeting of the minds.”
Reflecting on the time when she starred in the hit series, The Baywatch alum made it evident that “I have no plans of going back to Baywatch.”
Pointing out, “I’ve already done that. It was a great job, and I loved going to work every day on the beach. I would have been there anyway! At the time, it taught me a lot, and it gave me worldwide exposure. Everything I’ve done has led me to here, which is a blessing.”
Furthermore, the actress revealed that she is considering to take new challenges, saying, “Now is my time to really play with different characters.”
“I want to make really bold choices. I want to surprise people. I want to surprise myself. And so I’m trying to do things I haven’t done in the past,” Pamela added further.
For those unaware, the actress, 59, is exploring diverse roles, including her role in Rosebush Pruning.
