Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean and Lenny Kravitz among headliners at 2026 Global Citizen Festival

Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, Lenny Kravitz and Shaboozey are among the artists announced for the 2026 Global Citizen Festival, which will take place in New York’s Central Park on September 26.
John Legend, Lainey Wilson and Tomorrow X Together will also perform at the annual event, while Hugh Jackman will serve as host.
Rachel Brosnahan and Gayle King are among the announced guests, with further appearances expected to be revealed.
Hill and Jean will also mark the 30th anniversary of the Fugees’ album The Score during the festival.
The event will focus on three areas linked to extreme poverty: helping create educational opportunities for 2 million children, supporting 1.5 million smallholder farmers and expanding electricity access to 2.5 million homes.
Wilson said in a statement, “I believe all of us can do something to make the world a better place, so I’m proud to be performing at the Global Citizen Festival for the first time.”
She added, “It’s a chance to come together and support important work around children’s education, farmers and food security, and access to electricity — and have a whole lot of fun while we’re at it. Can’t wait to see y’all in Central Park!”
Jackman, a Global Citizen ambassador, said, “It’s time to gather once again on the Great Lawn, in the middle of New York City, to tell the world an end to extreme poverty is possible.”
Tickets to the festival are free and can be earned by taking action on the campaign’s priority issues through the Global Citizen app or website.
Global Citizen co-founder and CEO Hugh Evans said the organisation aims to build on decades of progress towards reducing extreme poverty while encouraging further action from governments, businesses and individuals.
