Cost of petrol has been reduced by Rs1.70 per liter.
The federal government has announced a reduction in petrol prices and surge in diesel prices.
According to the notification, the existing prices of petrol and other petroleum products will be effective for August 12.
Under the revised prices, the cost of petrol has been reduced by Rs1.70 per liter, bringing the new price to Rs325.92 per liter.
The price of high-speed diesel has increased by Rs1.39 per liter, reducing its new price to Rs382.25 per liter.
