Millions of BTS fans found relief after V made his first social media appearance following online speculation about a minor car accident.
The singer, whose real name is Kim Tae-hyung, shared Instagram Stories while travelling with BTS in the United States, indicating that he was continuing his tour activities normally.
The concern began after an unverified video circulated online, claiming that V was involved in a minor rear-end collision following BTS’ ARIRANG World Tour concert at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on August 2.

The reports were not officially confirmed by V or his agency. However, online claims suggested that the singer was unharmed and continued his schedule after the incident.
V later shared two short clips on Instagram Stories while travelling with his BTS bandmates. In the first video, recorded from his perspective, he was seen walking toward a waiting plane as the group prepared to depart for their next tour stop.
Near the end of the clip, V briefly captured his shadow while making a victory sign, a moment fans viewed as a reassuring sign that he was safe and doing well.
In another Instagram Story, the singer shared a clip from Boston with an airplane emoji. The video showed his shadow as he greeted Stoney Blue, BTS’ tour puppy.
Although V did not directly address the reported accident, the posts reassured fans who had been waiting for an update about his condition.
BTS is currently on the US leg of its ARIRANG World Tour, following two sold-out performances at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on August 1 and 2.
