At least 17 people have been killed after Russia and Ukraine exchanged fresh attacks, according to officials from both countries.
Russian authorities said 14 people were killed on Monday, including six in the southern Krasnodar region after drone debris fell on the resort village of Arkhipo-Ospiovka near Gelendzhik.
Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said the victims included three children and nearly 40 people were injured.
In Russian-occupied Crimea, Moscow-installed official Sergey Aksyonov said four people had died and two others were injured.
Acting Belgorod Governor Alexander Shuvaev also reported four civilian deaths and 17 injuries in settlements near the Ukrainian border.
Ukrainian officials said three people were killed in a Russian strike on a petrol station in the Kryvyi Rih district of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
According to regional Governor Oleksandr Hanzha, the victims included an emergency response worker and his eight-year-old son. He said the attack sparked a fire that damaged the petrol station and nearby vehicles.
According to Al Jazeera, Russia’s Defence Ministry also claimed its forces had captured the settlements of Bilyi Kolodiaz and Uspenivka in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region.
The outlet also reported that a Ukrainian drone struck a Wildberries warehouse in Russia’s Vladimir region.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has accused the company of supporting Russia’s war effort by selling dual-use equipment, allegations highlighted by Al Jazeera.
