Kim Kardashian cuddles up to Lewis Hamilton’s new puppy in latest Instagram post

Lewis Hamilton has welcomed a new puppy named Halo, marking the latest addition to the seven-time Formula 1 world champion’s family following the loss of his beloved bulldog Roscoe last year.

The puppy sparked buzz among fans after being posted by Hamilton’s partner Kim Kardashian, who posed alongside the golden retriever named Halo in her latest lakeside photo dump on Instagram.

Halo was recently flown to Los Angeles by Maine-based breeder Goldiva Goldens. The breeder confirmed the news in an Instagram post, writing, “We’re excited to fly Ms Halo to Los Angeles to Formula 1 Ferrari driver @lewishamilton!!”

The announcement follows months of speculation from fans after Hamilton shared photographs of himself surrounded by golden retriever puppies earlier this year. Since the breeder’s post was published, fans have flooded social media with messages welcoming Halo and celebrating Hamilton’s newest companion.

Hamilton has long been known for his close bond with his dogs. Roscoe, his English bulldog, became a familiar presence throughout the Formula 1 paddock during Hamilton’s years with Mercedes and remained a favourite among fans. Roscoe died in September 2025 after battling pneumonia.

At the time, Hamilton shared the emotional news with his followers, writing: “After four days on life support, fighting with every bit of strength he had, I had to make the hardest decision of my life and say goodbye to Roscoe.”

Before Roscoe, Hamilton cared for another English bulldog, Coco, whom he rescued in 2014 after she faced euthanasia because of poor health. Coco died in 2020.

Hamilton is now based in Los Angeles while competing for Ferrari during the 2026 Formula 1 season. The puppy’s arrival comes as Hamilton’s reported relationship with Kim Kardashian continues to attract public attention, following recent appearances together and family gatherings.
