Jennifer Lopez says what she believes makes a man truly attractive has nothing to do with money or luxury.
The singer and actress, 56, made the statement during her performance at Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Moda event in Taormina, Sicily, just days before her 57th birthday on July 24.
While joking with her backup dancers on stage, Lopez said she does not need a partner to buy her expensive gifts or support her financially.
“I have my own money,” she told the audience, adding that while gifts can be nice, they are not what she values most in a relationship.
“We don’t need anybody to buy us anything. We don’t. We want them to, sometimes that’s nice,” she said from the stage.
Lopez then said the qualities she finds most attractive are rather simple, everyday actions.
“But you know what really makes a man attractive? It’s not the watch. It’s not the car. It’s not the private jet. It really isn’t, although that’s nice. It’s nice. It’s seeing them make the bed in the morning or wash the dishes for you when you’re tired at night,” she explained.
“That’s what’s sexy. Now that’s what I call sexy. Cause ladies, you know, we do all the things. We do all the things.”
She ended the performance by thanking Dolce & Gabbana founders Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana before telling the crowd, “Ti amo, Italia!”
The performance was part of the luxury fashion brand’s three-day Alta Moda event in Sicily.
