‘Love Island USA’ Season 8 Episode 26 recap: Movie Night leaves villa shaken ahead of recoupling

The show premieres new episodes daily, except Wednesdays, on Peacock at 9pm ET/6pm PT
Movie Night resumed on Love Island USA, bringing more difficult conversations as previously unseen footage prompted confrontations, apologies and strained relationships across the villa.
The latest episode continued the fallout from Movie Night, with several islanders forced to answer for their behaviour during Casa Amor.
Corbin came under scrutiny after footage showed him making disrespectful remarks about Kenzie while pursuing a connection with Parmida, including his “college girls vs. high school girls” comment.
Although he accepted criticism, attention soon shifted to Kenzie after clips revealed her balancing multiple romantic interests. Fellow islanders questioned her actions, with Caleb, Dylan and Gal expressing disappointment.
The evening’s most emotional moment centred on Melanie and Sincere. Footage revealed Sincere telling Amora that she “would have been the one” if they had more time together before he returned from Casa Amor alone.
An upset Melanie accused him of making her look “stupid”, while Sincere attempted to defend himself despite warnings from Bryce. The confrontation ended with Melanie leaving in tears before being comforted by Aniya.
Elsewhere, tensions eased in parts of the villa. Aniya apologised to KC for an earlier argument, with KC also acknowledging his own role in the disagreement.
The following day, he admitted he regretted the comments he had made about Aniya behind closed doors, and the pair agreed to move forward on better terms.
However, Melanie remained unconvinced by Sincere’s explanation that he was a “people pleaser”, telling him he did not deserve to be in a relationship with her.
The episode concluded with the prospect of a recoupling, a dumping and a public vote set to raise the stakes in the next instalment.
