Trump says peace deal will be signed tomorrow

Trump said that we look forward to working with Iran, and entire Middle East.

US President Donald Trump said that an agreement to end the war with Iran will be signed tomorrow, followed by the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, hours after Iranian state media reported that the country remained cautious about the timing.

In a statement shared on the social media platform Truth Social, Donald Trump said the agreement would not involve any financial payments to Iran, adding that unlike previous deals, Tehran would not receive billions of dollars.

Criticizing former US President Barack Obama’s nuclear agreement with Iran, Trump claimed the earlier deal had provided Iran with an easy path toward acquiring nuclear weapons. He said the new agreement, in contrast, would serve as a strong barrier against Iran obtaining nuclear arms.

Trump further stated that Iran no longer seeks to develop nuclear weapons and that relations between Tehran and Washington are now better than they were under previous administrations.

He also said that once conditions improve, nuclear material from Iran would be secured and buried safely in mountainous areas.

US president added that we look forward to working with Iran, and the entire Middle East, long into the future.
