Saudi authorities announce Riyaz-ul-Jannah visiting hours for Hajj pilgrims

The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has announced visiting timings for Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah, commonly known among Pakistani pilgrims as Riyaz-ul-Jannah, for the Hajj 1447 AH season through the Nusuk application.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, men will be allowed to visit Riyaz-ul-Jannah daily from 2:00 AM until Fajr prayer and again from 11:20 AM until Isha prayer. Women will be able to visit from after Fajr prayer until 11:00 AM and again from after Isha prayer until 2:00 AM.

The report said separate visiting timings have also been arranged for Fridays because of larger crowds in Madinah during the weekly holiday and Hajj season.

Authorities said advance booking through the Nusuk application is compulsory for all visitors wishing to enter Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah. Pilgrims and worshippers have also been advised to strictly follow their allotted timings to help maintain smooth crowd management and a peaceful spiritual environment inside Al-Masjid an-Nabawi.

Officials added that the organized booking system is intended to improve the overall experience of pilgrims and reduce overcrowding during the Hajj season.
