Lauren Sánchez Bezos recently got candid and opened up about the adverse effects of dyslexia on her broadcasting career.

Taking to her Instagram on Friday, May 22, the wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos posted a video in which she reflected on her on-air “fumbles.” Taking it back to January 23, 2000, the clip started showing Lauren and a co-anchor hosting a newscast.

She, who served as a co-anchor for Fox’s Good Day LA from 2011 to 2017, scribbled over the video, “Back when I was a news anchor… I learned that dyslexia shows up in various ways.”

“Which can mean learning to read at your own pace … learning how to ask questions and connect … learning how to process big emotions … not measuring yourself by other people’s assumptions … or taking a leap of faith … even when you aren’t 100% sure….”

The Fantastic Four star concluded her message by writing, “I’ve fumbled live on air. Recovered, kept going. So will you. [a heart emoji].”

Lauren Sánchez Bezos, who was once an entertainment reporter on Extra, revealed that she “stumbled a lot” because of her dyslexia in her news anchoring career, but it “never once” stopped her, even when she was “embarrassed.”
