Megyn Kelly is calling out late-night hosts Seth Meyers and Jimmy Fallon over negative jokes.

She made the comments on The Megyn Kelly Show on May 21 while discussing the end of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. She first turned to Meyers, using strong language and insults to refer to him.

“He was such an a****** when I was over at NBC, like, I couldn’t stand him,” she vented on her podcast, also calling him a “jerk” and a “f****** douche”.

She said she had previously helped his wife by booking her on her show for a charity appearance.

“I said, ‘Sure, I’ll put her on,’ and then like, a couple months later, he was out there attacking me at the upfronts, where you make your pitch to advertisers”.

Kelly claimed that later, Meyers made negative jokes about her during a public industry event.

“Literally, he was out there making jokes about what a racist I was,” she continued. “I’m sorry, but you’re just a d*** if you do that. Who would do that? If you don’t like me, or you think bad things about me, okay, no problem. We don’t have to like each other. Why would you ask me to do you a favor… and I did it… and then attack me publicly?”

She said she felt betrayed by the situation and criticised him for publicly attacking her after she did him a favour. You’re such a douche. You’re such a f****** douche, sorry for my language,” she said.

Kelly then turned her comments to Fallon. She said Fallon is “far less political than Meyers” but questioned whether he was trying to “fill the shoes of Stephen Colbert.”

She then referred to a recent segment from The Tonight Show, where Fallon performed a satirical song about Donald Trump and a legal settlement. Kelly said she strongly disapproved of the segment and reacted negatively to it.

“Oh my god… That should’ve come with a viewer warning. I was recoiling. I disapprove on every level,” she remarked.

Her guest on the show, radio producer Stu Burguiere, also criticised the clip and called it one of the worst things he had seen.

“That is the worst thing I’ve ever seen… I’m sort of angry at you, honestly, for even showing that.”

The discussion came during ongoing attention around late-night television following the cancellation of Colbert’s show after an 11-year run.
