After Gwyneth Paltrow’s daughter Apple Martin dipped her toes in modelling, she is all set to make her feature-film debut.
The 22-year-old, who is the daughter of Gwyneth and Coldplay‘s frontman Chris Martin, will star in Parent Trap director Nancy Meyers’ upcoming comedy.
Alongside Apple, Deadline also announced the other actors joining the star-studded cast including National Lampoon‘s Vacation star Beverly D’Angelo and Arrested Development‘s Tony Hale.
Kieran Culkin, Jude Law, Penélope Cruz, Erin Doherty, and Owen Wilson were previously announced.
Apple took to her Instagram account to share the happy news, and excitedly wrote, “Dream come true!!”
“Thank you @nmeyers for taking a chance on me,” she noted along with heart emojis.
Meyers’ upcoming comedy will mark Apple’s first onscreen role after she made her acting cameo in HBO show Rooster.
As she has been actively working as a model and walked the runway for multiple brands, she recently celebrated her graduation from Vanderbilt University with a degree in law, history and society.
The aspiring actor previously shared her plans of pursuing acting and following her mother’s footsteps.
“I don’t wanna be a singer, I like musical theatre, but getting onstage by yourself to sing is so terrifying,” she told Vogue. “I love dancing and I love acting. My dream is to act.”
