“Family has always meant everything to us, but becoming parents has given us an entirely new perspective on love, purpose, legacy and what truly matters most,” the couple said.
They added, “He has brought so much happiness and meaning into our lives, and we’re incredibly grateful to God for trusting us with such a special blessing. We’re embracing this new chapter with so much love and excitement as we raise and guide our son together.”
Ball and Montana have reportedly been linked since 2023, although rumours surrounding their relationship began earlier. The couple also announced plans to launch a new platform and non-profit organisation focused on supporting women navigating fertility treatment and IVF procedures.
The initiative aims to provide educational resources, emotional support and reproductive health awareness for women undergoing fertility challenges. The pair are also planning to introduce financial grants to assist women with IVF-related costs.
“This is more than awareness, it’s about creating real support, real access and a community where women feel seen, understood and hopeful,” Montana said.
News of the baby had previously been hinted at by LaVar Ball during an appearance on the Ball in the Family Podcast with Lonzo & Gelo Ball in March.

LaMelo Ball currently plays for the Charlotte Hornets and remains one of the NBA’s most recognisable young stars.
