Operation Ghazab lil-Haq underway as Pakistan hits Afghan positions

Forces carry out precise strikes in Sarshan, Al-Marjan, and Edhi positions.

Pakistan’s military has launched a decisive retaliatory response along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border after what officials described as unprovoked aggression by Afghan Taliban elements and Fitna al-Khawarij in the Chaman sector.

According to security sources the armed forces initiated a large-scale operation titled “Ghazab lil-Haq,” involving sustained and comprehensive military action against hostile positions. The operation is currently ongoing, with forces actively engaging targets identified as part of the cross-border aggression.

Sources confirmed that Pakistani troops successfully struck and destroyed several Afghan posts including Sarshan, Al-Marjan, and Edhi positions.

These locations were believed to be used for hostile activities targeting Pakistan. In addition to these posts, an Afghan vehicle and multiple installations were also hit and damaged during the strikes.

Officials stated that the operation was carried out with precision and careful planning, ensuring that identified threats were neutralised effectively. The strikes reflect a firm and calculated response aimed at safeguarding national security and preventing further escalation along the border.

Security sources reiterated that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully alert and committed to defending the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity at all costs. They stressed that any attempt by terrorist elements or their facilitators to destabilise the region will be met with a strong and uncompromising response.

“The designs of terrorists and their patrons will be reduced to dust,” security officials said, highlighting the military’s resolve to eliminate all threats.

They further added that Operation Ghazab lil-Haq will continue relentlessly until all designated objectives are achieved and hostile elements are completely neutralised.
